Hi Everyone,
This year Bunscoil Chríost Rí are launching a campaign to achieve an Active School Flag for our school. An Active School Flag is awarded to schools who are physically active and promote physical activity in the school environment.
As you already know we here in Bunscoil Chríost Rí are already participating in a lot of sporting activities including GAA, Orienteering, Irish Dancing, After School Activities and the list goes on.
There is a long checklist of requirements that our school must meet before we are awarded an Active School Flag. Thankfully we already meet a lot of these requirements so we are well on our way.
Our first job is to create awareness of the importance of being active.
If you would like to read more about the Active School Flag please visit http://activeschoolflag.ie/
Stay tuned!
