We’re delighted to see all of your hard work is paying off!
We were so honoured to recently receive a visit from the victorious Cork Ladies Football team. This Cork ladies team is one of the greatest teams in history and we are so happy that the team came to share their victory with us here in Bunscoil Chríost Rí! A special mention to a few past pupils involved in the team, E. Fitzgerald (Coach), J.Masters (Sel), T.Manning (Stats). Well done to all involved! Fingers crossed we will see you all back in Bunscoil Chríost Rí next year with some Silverware again! REBELS ABÚ!!
We started this year off on a sporting note with lots of activity going on around the school. Have a look below at a few photos of our Infants being active at lunch time with our yard equipment! 🙂
Hard Luck to our boys in the recent Sciath na Scol football semi-final who were beaten by St. Joseph’s. You all did so well to get so far! Everyone in Bunscoil Chríost Rí is very proud of the team. Fingers crossed that ye will be back and as good as ever in the hurling in the new year! 🙂 A big thank you to Mr. McCarthy and Mr. O’ Connell for all their hard work training the team!

The very best of luck to the Bunscoil Chríost Rí boys who are taking part in the Sciath na Scol football semi- final today! The boys face St. Joseph’s in what is expected to be a nail biting game! We will all be cheering you on from Evergreen Road! 🙂
We here in Bunscoil Chríost Rí are the proud owners of an Active School’s Flag! Check it out flying high outside our school! 🙂 We’re back to school just a few short weeks and we’re already being as active as possible! The term has kicked off with some orienteering in classes from 4th to 6th both in the Tramore Valley Park and around the school grounds! We’re also so excited to be having an Active Schools Week this week so early in the school year! Our new Active Schools Committee has be formed and they are already working so hard on encouraging everyone to be active in the school!
Keep an eye on our blog in the next few days to see some of the fun we’ve been having in Bunscoil Chríost Rí and of course to meet our new committee!
BUNSCOIL CAILÍNÍ BRING HOME THE GOLD!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Tensions were high and excitement was building in C.I.T for today’s Sciath na Scol final between Bunscoil Chríost Rí and Ballinora N.S. The school, Mammy’s, Daddy’s, Grandparents and more were all there to support Bunscoil Chríost Rí! Trailing by a point at half time was nothing our cailíní couldn’t handle! They did their school, teachers, parish, families and friends proud! Bunscoil Chríost Rí came back to win by 3-3 to 2-2! A super achievement for everyone involved! We can’t forget Ms. Harrington and Mr. Hennessy! None of it would have be possible without you both! Thank you for all of ye’re time and hard work both of you gave to the team this year! It means a lot!
BUNSCOIL CHRÍOST RÍ ABÚ!!!!!!!!
